Pockets, not practice.
One designer is brilliant with image tools, one associate has a bid-writing prompt, and nobody else knows either exists.
AI is already in your studio: in competition images, in bid writing, in someone's browser tab on a Friday afternoon. The question is no longer whether your teams use it, but whether they use it safely, consistently and on the work that matters.
GrivoBlinx helps architecture practices set the rules, train the teams and build the tools, working with George Billam directly: 18+ years in architecture and construction design, Claude Certified Associate, and the person who builds everything.
No gatekeeping, no hype. Everything we give you works whether you hire us again or not.
One designer is brilliant with image tools, one associate has a bid-writing prompt, and nobody else knows either exists.
Staff don't know what they can paste into a chatbot, so some paste everything and some won't touch it.
A confident answer about fire strategy, structure or Part M is still just an answer. Someone qualified has to check it.
Pilots start, the champion gets busy on a project, and the tool quietly stops being used.
None of these are technology problems. They are adoption, governance and training problems, and that is where we work.
An honest look at where AI helps across concept and competition work, design development and documentation, visualisation, and the business side: bids, fee proposals, reporting. You get a short list of priorities, an approved-tools view and a clear line on what not to automate.
Sessions for partners, project teams and studio staff, using your own kinds of drawings, reports and bid documents, not generic examples. Practical from the first session. No jargon.
When a tool is genuinely the right answer, we build it around how you already work, typically working in under four weeks. Policy assistants, document and report generators, and agents that work inside Revit with a record of every action.
We write and run AI courses for training providers and practices, and we can stay on as your retained AI partner to keep the policy, the training and the tools current.
Most AI policies are a PDF nobody reads. We help you turn the policy into something staff actually use.
We have built a governed integration that lets Claude work inside Revit (batch sheets, shared parameters, view templates, family audits) with a ledger of every action and a check on which model is open before anything changes. Proven routines are promoted into reusable skills, so good practice stops living in one person's head.
Regulations lookups grounded in the Approved Documents, and multi-agent pre-checks that split a scheme description across the relevant parts and flag where requirements pull against each other. They support review; they don't replace it.
Fee proposals, specifications, drawing registers, meeting notes and bid content generated from your own data, then checked by your team.
Live sessions from real projects, not demos. Described without client or project identifiers - the work is real, and so is the confidentiality.
A layout change raised a compliance question that needed design-intent drawings before the package could move. Working inside the live Revit model, the session produced an explanatory note with sketches drawn from real model coordinates, a new strategy sheet and a revised drawing, assembled with the issue sheet - drawn, checked and issued the same day, with the specialist consultant holding the final design.
A drawing issue that normally takes days, done in one session.
Render engines need fully dressed models; live models never are. This pipeline reads the Revit view and its annotations - ceiling plans, finishes legends - and drives image models directly. Every render is automatically scored against the real Revit geometry before anyone sees it.
Hours of model dressing replaced by a checked, sub-minute render.
Fit-out layouts arrive as CAD drawings carrying hundreds of fixture blocks, traditionally matched to families and placed by hand. One session built the process end to end: the families built, every instance placed and marked to its position, with a register and an update route for the next drawing revision.
A day of error-prone placement became a supervised automated pass.
Automation only counts if it works on a drawing it has never seen. Re-run on a different layout, the process placed the fixtures without manual Revit input, with the genuine judgement calls - unknown blocks, size mismatches, bespoke joinery - flagged for human review rather than guessed at.
A one-off trick became a reusable practice tool.
A furniture item existed only as a dimensioned 2D general arrangement drawing. The AI read the geometry from the CAD file and wrote code against the Revit API to build the family, loaded with real data: materials, part references, weight, fixing notes. Its first attempt read part of the frame wrong - the review step caught it, and the corrected family went in the model. That check is the process working, not failing.
Schedule-ready families from supplier drawings in minutes, review built in.

An in-house AI site with a formal policy, a do's and don'ts grid, an Ask-the-Policy chat, a prompt library and a policy-governed assistant that enforces confidentiality and flags Building Regulations, fire, structural and CDM risk.
Ask for a demo →George Billam is a Claude Certified Associate, tested by Anthropic through a proctored assessment. GrivoBlinx is a member of the Anthropic Claude Partner Network.

Order your reportA structured working session on one problem: bids, documentation, visualisation, policy. You leave with a specific plan.
Pick a time - £150For partners and studio leads who want the whole team using AI well. A process review and half-day visit (£650, travel included), a written training plan for each group (£750), then training on your own projects, quoted from the plan.
Enquire by emailFor practices that want the policy, training and tools kept current without a new hire, or need cover while they recruit a design technology or AI lead. A set number of days each month: governance reviews, studio drop-ins, quarterly training, a shared workflow library, a KPI note for leadership, and small builds. Move up or down each quarter.

Confidentiality is designed in from the start, not added later. We help you decide which platforms are approved, what can and cannot be shared with them, and how that is enforced in the tools themselves. Any assistant we build follows your rules, not the other way round. We're happy to sign an NDA or work under your standard confidentiality terms, and we never use your project data in other clients' work.
No, and the tools we build say so. They can help you find the relevant Approved Document, draft a first pass or spot where requirements conflict, but they flag Building Regulations, fire, structural and CDM questions for a qualified person to check. Professional responsibility stays with your practice and your consultants.
Your practice owns what is built for you, with £0 licence fees. Where we reuse our own general components, we say so up front and you get a perpetual licence to use them.
GrivoBlinx is a Claude Partner Network member and most of our builds use Claude, but our advice is platform-neutral. If another tool is the better fit for a task, we will tell you.
Alongside them. We focus on AI adoption, governance and training, and we hand everything over in a form your team can own.
No. Most practices start with a Focus Session or the Opportunity Report. We only recommend a build when it is genuinely the right answer.
Every engagement is with George Billam directly. No handoffs, no juniors.
